However, it isn’t just as easy as putting on your favourite bikini and going for it. There is so much to think about and much of it has to do with your confidence levels and how you feel personally. So how can you showcase the best version of yourself this summer? I wanted to share with you some of the ways that I think you can do it and they will have you feeling amazing on the inside and the outside and rocking your own version of your bikini body.
Focus on how you feel on the inside
When it comes to how you physically feel on the inside, your diet can play a huge part in that. What you eat can affect you in many different ways. You have your weight to consider, your energy levels, the condition of your skin, what you eat controls most of how your body looks. Sometimes it isn’t about a crash diet as not only are they unsustainable, you can find that you are denying your body nutrients and vitamins it needs. A balanced diet is always going to be the best way to go when it comes to how you feel. Nourishing your body with the food it needs to function.
Drinking plenty of water to improve your skin tone
Water is one product we don’t take advantage of enough. A natural detox, drinking plenty of water can flush your body of bad toxins that can linger and cause things like spot breakouts and adult acne. Drinking plenty of water each day is a great way to improve your skin tone and condition. There are certain parts of your body that attract attention and your hair is one of them, so if you find you’re struggling with this aspect of your appearance it may be the time to take action. People struggle with problems to do with their hair, particularly hair loss that can occur after you have had a baby or during stressful times. If this is something you are struggling with then perhaps things like finasteride tablets can help you encourage hair regrowth. Other ways to enhance your hair would be to finally embrace a new hair colour or style. There is always inspiration out there on websites like Pinterest to help to feel inspired for different looks you could try.
Stepping out of your comfort zone by learning different makeup techniques
Maybe you want to try a few different looks but don’t know where to start. Makeup can be a great way to create a different appearance with very little effort, but some people are more confident in application than others. This is when YouTube is a great platform as so many people have shared their tutorials on how to achieve different makeup and even hairstyles and fashion advice. They can give you steps you can follow rather than having to guess how to apply from a magazine or TV show.
Dressing for your body shape and feeling confident
Dressing for your body shape is a fantastic way to feel more confident with your body and in the skin, you’re in. We all have body hang-ups and there are areas on our body that we perhaps don’t like. But by dressing for the shape you have you accentuate the parts that you love and can easily hide the areas you don’t like. The difference the right fit of top, shirt or trousers can make is mind-boggling and it can be a real confidence booster for you when it comes to showcasing the best version of yourself.
Having a capsule wardrobe for your summer style
Finally, having a capsule wardrobe can make a big difference to how you feel when it comes to dressing. In principle, you invest in a few key pieces that fit and work well on your body shape, and then you mix and match. It takes any confusion out of the decision of what to wear and gives you the chance to be creative with your style without the fear of wearing something that doesn’t look or feel right on your body.
I hope that these tips help you to showcase the best version of yourself this summer.
