It is that time of year when people are all about festivals and with the UK already having been host to quite a few this year, there is still plenty of choice for the months to come ahead of us. However, if you’re heading off to a festival there are a few musts you need to make sure you have to hand after all this is the UK and mud and music is the order of every festival.
The Perfect Tent
While some people choose to stay in a local hotel or hire a yurt, or pod at a festival these days. There is nothing that is ever going to beat a tent and you may be thrilled to learn there are companies out there who sell the perfect tent for festivals. Allowing you to camp in style while being in the midst of perhaps one of the best part of the festival.
Sunglasses, Hats, Sunscreen
While festivals are often remembered for their lack of sun and pits of mud! There are times when the sun will shine and you are going to have to remember to have that SPF to hand, the last thing you want to be dealing with is a sunburn on top of everything else. Sunglasses and hats are also a must and can often become part of your festival look, rather than just a functional item.
Wet Wipes, Dry Shampoo and Other Handy Minis, Toilet Roll
You’re unlikely to be seeing a proper shower for a good few days, however, that doesn’t mean you have to feel completely uncomfortable. Think about what you are packing that could help with your personal comfort. A quick spritz of dry shampoo and a wipe around with wet wipes, some deodorant or baby powder could completely change how you are feeling from one minute until another.
Phone, Portable Charge and Apps
Sadly phones don’t last like they used to, so making sure you have a way to keep them charged up is a must. After all your phone is going to be a way to find your friends and perhaps even your tent. Keep up with what’s going on, on the stages and take some all-important pictures as the weekend progresses, so don’t let that battery dip to 0!
Camping Gear
While I previously mentioned the perfect tent, you can’t forget the fact that your going to be want to be as comfortable as possible inside. Making sure you bring sleeping bags, air pillows and airbed, camping chairs and other essentials can all help you grab that quick kip between artists as and when you can.
It might also be worth getting a dab torch, which will help you light any BBQs or camp fires you are looking to hold while there.
