Dehydrated food is a simple way to store fresh food and it has many uses.

Dehydrated fruit is used more than anything in my house, the kids love to snack on it and I prefer to bake with it.
It’s a simple way to store fresh fruit and keep it for baking or snacking. Even popping on cereal as a treat.

Fruit is the most used food that is dehydrated as it can be used in more things than vegetables for example.
I like to dehydrate exotic fruits and use them in granola, even baking them in muffins or cakes.

It’s easier to store and doesn’t go mouldy within 3-4 days like fruit does.
I waste so much fruit, so now when it starts to become ripe, I star to dehydrate any I think that wouldn’t be eaten.
Just dehydrate and pop in containers or air-tight bags.
With an internet full of recipes, you can;t go wrong.
I have even seen dehydrated dog food and treats! So it is literally endless for what you can do.
