I don’t know if it is just me, but I spend hours looking for a contact number for a company.
It’s an absolute nightmare at times and I get so annoyed because some companies are hard to get hold of.
My other big peeve, is the call waiting times.
I have spent a good part of my day getting through to various companies and in the end, I have to hang up as the kids need feeding or I have work.
To then spend the next day again on hold for hours and hours, passed around the world to various agents trying to get the information I need.
Then came along Contact Number UK which has been pretty much a life saver for me.
You can find a contact number for most large businesses so you can get through a lot quicker than calling those helplines on forms or websites. You know the ones that take forever to get through?
Well now you have a lot of numbers all under one roof.
I tried one to call my internet and phone provider, usually I wait a good 30-40 minutes before answering.
So I used the number on the website and I was through within 3 minutes and my query resolved in under 10.
I get so fed up of waiting and waiting and you guessed it, more waiting!
I have better things to be doing, washing the dishes, doing laundry… I don’t have all day to wait for someone to answer a phone!
I suffer from the ‘on hold blues’ and feel rather depressed by the time I have finished the call.
I can see why people get angry when having to wait for so long, I feel it too! You are NOT alone!
