There’re times when kids are bored playing with their toys, times when they want to create things.
Making things with children is a wonderful way to spend time together and learn too.
So here’s a super easy project that children will love.Let’s make a ladybird with a toilet paper or kitchen roll.
You will need: Toilet paper roll or Kitchen roll,paint,glue,scissors,paper – cardboard will work well, pom pom or buttons, wiggle eyes or paper.
Grab a toilet paper roll and give it to your child to paint it. We chose to paint it black to make our ladybug.
Draw an oval on a piece of cardboard paper and use your scissors to cut half way through.
Time to paint the paper. My daughter loves using her watercolours but crayons, markers work well too.
Use what you’ve got. Let it dry and then draw a few red dots.
Finally, grab a cupcake case and paint it black.Glue it on the toilet paper roll as pictured.
To make the eyes you can use wiggle eyes or cut 2 small paper circles.
I used pom pom to make the nose however sequins or buttons are good too. Use what you have, be creative.
Now glue you wings over the toilet paper roll and your toilet paper ladybug puppet is ready.
Have fun and enjoy the process. Kids will enjoy making and playing with this cute ladybug.

These are such a good idea! I used to love playing with puppets when I was younger and making them yourself makes the fun last a lot longer!
