Blogs are a popular tool in the online world. So one thing you can do to set your blog apart from the rest is work on your blog theme and branding. However, this is no easy task since there are millions on the Internet.

Blog Tools and Features.
Getting to know the features that come with your blog no matter where it is hosted is a must. These can help you add in must-have features such as an RRS and the ability to allow (or disable comments).
If you are on WordPress then learning about widgets and which ones could work best for you is a must. As too many widgets can be a bad thing, however, you want to still add those that will help your blog grow and succeed.
Other important features to learn include the importance of keywords, images ALT tags. While more in-depth changes like CCS modifications and upgrades can come later down the line, once you know more coding and your blogs set up.
Search Engines and Blogging.
One thing important to your blogging journey is learning about SEO and keywords in blog posts. After all, you want to try and make sure your blog is attractive to search engines to help bring in new viewers. However do not overdo it, search bots are wise to keyword stuffing and will downgrade your blog if this happens.
You need to ensure your blog is indexed by the major search engines. Adding your Blog’s URL for indexing can be accomplished by going to:

Regardless of your blog theme and how you develop your theme, along with what tools you use in setting up your blog and ensuring you maximize SEO efforts, your visitorship will be low if you do not focus on one key concept. This concept is – content. Rich content that is timely and focused will gain and keep visitors coming back to your blog.
