Sheila’s Natural Cream – Moisturising Face Cream

I love skincare, I even love natural skincare even more, so when I tried the fabulous Sheila’s Natural Cream – Moisturising Face Cream I was ever so delighted.

Moisturiser I am very picky with, because creams that are too heavy can clog my skin up and make me break out. Creams that are too thin don’t nourish my skin well and leave dry patches in places like nose, forehead and cheeks.
I need one that stops so much oil production, but also nourishes so well at the same time.

Then along came Sheila’s Natural Cream – moisturising face cream for normal skin.

The cream comes in a weighted blue glass jar, the blue glass stops the product being spoiled by harmful rays of sunshine.
It has an easy to open black plastic lid with a protector on the top to keep the cream fresh.

There is no GM ingredients, no parabens, no SLS, no petrochemicals and made in the UK. It’s also 100% vegan and 100% plant based.

Now the scent, well there isn’t actually a lot of scent if I am honest which I like. It has a slight scent of geranium and rose but very delicate and almost undetectable.
You get more power of the scent when you massage into your skin and releases the scents, it’s heavenly.

The colour of the cream is slightly off white, it’s a medium consistency and not greasy at all.
Feels very smooth and absorbs rapidly leaving no film or roll off when using with other products.

Skin feels very nourished and smooth after one use, eases tightness within seconds and eliminates those dry patches as it is super moisturising.

After a week of use, I noticed this was very beneficial on redness. I have redness on my cheeks, side of nose and sometimes on my chin/forehead.
The redness had near enough vanished after a week and found the more I used it, the redness started to go.

I love this cream when my skin is irritated, along with a facial oil I use, the irritation went after 24 hours.
I really liked how nourished my skin was after irritation, usually it becomes very dry and stiff but never had this issue when using this gorgeous cream.

I did not have clogged pores, it was rich enough to nourish but not thick as it was a medium consistency. Now this cream does sink in and as I said, there was no residue so I found applying make up after was very easy and could apply without the stickiness of my usual moisturiser.

The cream also created a barrier when applying make up so I did not suffer from skin irritation at all.
I did not even need a primer as it actually worked as a primer too and kept my makeup in place all day, just like a primer would usually do.

I use it morning and night because it is heavy enough for night time use but light enough for day and offers full protection from the elements, does not allow skin to be dried out either as it is so moisturising.

  2. I have never heard of this but will have to try it! Love the name too – my Nan is called Sheila and her skin is amazing at 79 – she really takes care of it – so this reminds me of her ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I love the look of this.
Like the fact it’s natural and I suffer with the same thing as you, I cannot use a thick cream on my face otherwise I end up covered in spots and all greasy!
I’m going to go have a look at this now…
