I was offered a Milton Combi Steriliser (RRP £24.99) to review and although Lucas is now 14 months I jumped at the chance. It is recommended that you sterilise your baby’s feeding items up to their first birthday. However, with drinking cups falling out of the pram whilst we are out on a walk and dummies being thrown in a rage I would rather keep sterilising them properly at least every couple of days to give them a deeper clean.
The steriliser tablets (included in the box but RRP £2.46) are clinically proven to kill 99.9% of germs and sterilises in the combi from 2 minutes in the microwave and 15 minutes in cold water. The combi comes with a tong to remove the bottles, I didn’t use this as I was sterilising bigger cups but I think that is a great accompaniment, not only for when the bottles come out of the microwave and are needed immediately but for extra hygiene whether using it in the microwave or cold water. It has a unique safety vent to increase the temperature inside the Combi for better sterilisation and is spill free thanks to the unique seal on the lid.
I use it for Lucas’ cups, dummies and teething toys in cold water, I love that everything is done in 15 minutes and I can leave them in for up to 24 hours as well as putting them back in within that time to re-sterilise. They are ready to use straight away, no need to rinse like I have had to with some another branded solution I have previously used.

This looks like a good steriliser. We use Milton products a lot at home for cleaning etc. I could do with a steriliser even though I don’t have a baby. It would be very useful! Angela at Daysinbed

What a great sterliser! Like you, I also sterlised the dummies and cups until my children were much older than a year old. You can never be too careful! Milton is a fab brand. Lovely review. xx

Fab review! I have tried this steriliser myself and agree it is fab! Its great for taking on holiday etc to when you are unsure if there will be a microwave on hand as you can just use the cold steriliser function. xx
