JCB Mini Dumptruck – Review

Now the weather has perked up in recent weeks it’s meant that we’ve had plenty of opportunities to get outdoors and we’ve recently been spending a lot of time attempting to sort our garden out. We’ve had to find lots of toys to keep our 22 month old little boy, Rowan, occupied whilst we get on with the gardening.

Recently we were kindly sent a JCB Mini Dumptruck for Rowan to trial and test and let’s just say he absolutely loves it, I mean what toddler wouldn’t?! It’s absolutely perfect for playing with both indoors and outdoors and great for playing with in mud or sand. We’ve recently purchased a sandpit for the summer and I think it’ll be living in there for a few months!

JCB Mini Dumptruck Review

The bright yellow and chunky JCB Mini Dumptruck is 7″, this is a great size as it doesn’t take up much room. It’s lightweight and features the JCB logo, four chunky wheels and a manually operated dumper. It’s great entertainment for children 18 months + as they can load the dumper with mud or sand and deposit at their will, it also helps with their imaginative play skills. We have ended up with a few Rowan created mole-hill style piles in the garden, but don’t let you put this off as that’s really easy to fix.

Rowan also loves pushing it around making truck style noises, very cute!

JCB Mini Dumptruck #2

The JCB Mini Dumptruck is available to purchase online and I’ve found various stockist of it, the cheapest that I saw was £4.99 from Samuel Johnston. I think that’s a fantastic price for a toy that is really robust and keeps little ones entertained for more than a few minutes!

  1. Ohhh the memories! We had a big metal JCB Dumptruck when I was a kid. It was SO heavy so I’m glad to hear that this one is light weight and not too big! This is a fab toy for imaginative play, a lot of hours of fun! I’m glad Rowan enjoyed his new truck and a very smart truck at that! 🙂
