Lucas was sent Clementoni Baby T Rex to review. This little green cutie has it all, it speaks, sings and moves. The dinosaur comes with its very own dinosaur bone rattle that the T-Rex recognises and follows which really does keep Lucas amused time after time. The T-Rex has 3 scales on its back, the red scale (number one) has a picture of a monkey on it and sings a monkey song and tells the little ones what monkeys eat. The yellow scale (number two) has a picture of a bear on and sings a song about bears and what they eat. The blue scale (number three) has a picture of a crocodile on and sings a wonderful crocodile song, this has the little fella laughing and clapping every time . There are easy to use buttons and has 3 settings music only, music and movement and the off button.
On top of the dinosaur is a orange scale with A,B,C on the top and sings a groovy alphabet song. Another orange scale has the sensor for the rattle and the dinosaur shouts out ‘where are you, shake the rattle so I can find you’ which really engages Lucas. Once the rattle has been shook the T-Rex walks across the ground following Lucas and the rattle and shout’s ‘let’s play hide and seek’. The dinosaur spins round and goes backwards and forwards and has so many phrases and nursery rhymes I couldn’t possibly list them all. This certainly helped Lucas’ crawling as he was following the dinosaur everywhere. With the bright vibrant colours, engaging phrases and nursery rhymes it is suitable for any little budding dinosaur hunter aimed at ages 12-36 months. The recommended retail price is £17.99 and I think for all of it’s features it is well worth that, however it is currently on Amazon for a bragain price of £7.19!
