Education is something we all probably take for granted, in fact many of probably didn’t really enjoy our school days. I know I didn’t and at many times I wanted to be anywhere else than sat in the class room, trying to keep up with whatever the teacher was dictating for us to write.
But for many people education isn’t a choice they can even make, for many the thought of attending school is just a dream that will never come true and to me that is unthinkable.
Oxfam has produced this interesting graphic which helps show just how hard it can be growing up in the third world and the realities they face when it comes to trying to gain an education.
Thankfully Oxfam are trying to help these people get a better education and through donations from people such as you and me, each year they are helping children gain an education and empowering people to become teachers.
To help keep up their good work, Oxfam of course need donations. So they are asking if people can offer either a small one of contribution, or a monthly donation, both of which can be from as little as £2 to help support this worthy cause.

It’s so sad that there are lots of children around the world who cannot access free education 🙁 but a great cause for you to be promoting 🙂

I think this is a great cause. We have an Oxfam shop in our town, which is currently being refurbished and made larger. Can’t wait to see it
