Money, the bane of many people’s lives and something that seems to come in one hand and disappear straight out of the other and with the currant economy, something many of us don’t have much of in savings. Which means that should a number of disasters in quick succession, we will have trouble paying for everything we need to.
However, should the worst happen, there are a few ways you can try and get together money and quickly here is just a few:
Declutter
You might be thinking who would want my clutter? Well, as they say one man’s trash is
another man’s treasure and you might just be surprised how much some of your “junk” will
go for if you sell it in the right place. For instance, you only want to take low-value items to
carboots, as no one is going to spend a couple of £100 on something. While for more
expensive items eBay, Facebook selling groups or websites such as Gumtree are worth

Sell your talents
Everyone has a talent, for many of you reading this it could be your blog and social media. So when times are hard, get in contact with your contacts, don’t beg, as that’s not going to get you anywhere, but just remind them you are about if they need your help. If you don’t have a blog then perhaps you are awesome at writing CV’s, amazing at doing doodles or a dab hand at crafting, all of which you could sell to people.
Borrow
Some people may have family and friends they can fall back on in times of need and that is awesome, if only we could all have that. However, if you can’t do that and you have exhausted all other avenues then borrowing from a company such as Vivus might be worth looking into, in an emergency. However, always make sure you are 100% sure you can afford the repayments and whatever you do stay away from the extortionately high APR payday loans.
