Do not strain alone; you can ask your mum to help you with one or two things which will make them feel needed. Some of the ways you can keep your mother involved in the wedding plans include;
- Take her for your wedding dress shopping
It is every lady’s dream to walk down the aisle with a sparkling white gown, and most of them have that picture even before they find themselves a man. Nonetheless, when the time reaches where you have a few months to say I do to the love of your life, then you need to start shopping for your dream gown. Moms often have their children’s best interest in mind, and will always advise you accordingly when it comes to choosing a dress.
- Help her shop for her dress

As such, it is useful if you involve her in the planning. Ask her what she thinks about whatever you decide, besides, your mom knows you best. She will be able to tell you if you are going overboard and so on.
- Give her some responsibilities
To help you with the planning part of the wedding, you can assign your mother with some responsibilities. If you feel she is good when it comes to décor and getting things in order, you can leave that to her. Ask her to contact any possible wedding decoration agencies who offer impeccable services, deliver on time and are affordable. This, in a way, makes your mother feel special as she will be playing a big part in the success of your wedding.
