We’re always on the lookout for new toys for our 22 month old toddler, something new for him to explore and be entertained with for longer than a few minutes! The Italian company Baby Clementoni recently got in contact and asked us to review their Clemmy Plus Fun Forest play set. Baby Clementoni is a brand that I’d never heard of before and are not particularly well known in the UK and I was pleasantly surprised by the play set.
The Clemmy Plus Fun Forest play set is for children 18+ months and includes:

- Four cute animal characters (a monkey, elephant, lion and parrot)
- Two tree tops
- 21 soft building blocks
- A forest floor plastic base
- An electronic centre piece
The centre piece is a detachable electronic sound board that plays the animal sounds of the four animals included when you press the relevant buttons, this is great fun for our toddler who is currently learning to identify different animals and the sounds that they make.
The washable soft bricks are made from an innovative, brightly coloured soft material that are perfectly sized for little hands, helping them to develop those fine motor skills, they are also easy to build and join together. Our little boy also likes to have a good chew on them, the fact the bricks are made from a non-toxic material means they are safe if a toddler has a little nibble during those teething days.
This is definitely one of his favourite toys at the moment. It’s really good as he is able to play with it in lots of different ways, one minute he’ll be in building mode with the blocks, then making jungle sounds and taking the animal characters on little adventures.
The size is just right, it’s a really portable play set and we’ve been playing outside with it in the garden on the recent warmer days.
