Beach Chic from Elvi

Beach Chic

The summer has most definitely arrived here, last week saw the sun high in the sky, blue skies were all around and for me it just made me want to go and take a seat on a beach somewhere – enjoy the sea lapping and my feet and the sand beneath my toes and of course that got me thinking about what I would wear and as the beach is a dream, (why do I live as inland in England as you can get!), I thought I might as well do a dream outfit to wear as well, so I popped over to Elvi clothing to put it together.

Khaki Shimmer Pendant Necklace RRP £10 (on sale for £7)
I love the gold shimmer against khaki of this pendant; it offers a necklace that can be used any time and it would fit with so many different outfits. To me the gold shimmer just fits perfectly with my idea of a perfect beach day, the sun shining off the waves.

Tiger Print Waterfall Jacket RRP £20
This is England, so I am not going to pretend that the weather cannot suddenly change in a minute, that the sun once behind a cloud doesn’t leave a chill to the air. So with that in mind, I had to add a jacket to my list and one of this shape, is just easy to slip on and off.

Cream Slouchy Bag RRP £45 (on sale for £31.50)
Every day on the beach needs a good bag, as of course, you need a camera to take some snaps, sun cream to stop you from burning and a purse to treat yourself to ice cream and this bag looks like it will fit it all, along with a good book if you fancy to read and you sunbathe.

Black & White Stripe Maxi Dress RRP £40 (on sale for £28)
I’ve totally fallen for maxi dresses this year and this stripped number just shouts, relaxing day at the beach to me. I admit I am not normally one for stripes, but there is something about the pattern and shape of the dress that just makes me want to own it.

So there you have my beach day run down, perhaps one day I’ll get to sit on the beach in it, reading a wonderful book.

What do you think of this outfit, have you ever tried out Elvi for plus size occasion wear?

  1. Great ensemble but I never know what is better for the beach in footwaear flipflops that get stuck in the sand , espadrilles that expand if wet or fill up with sand or the holiday crocs ????
