Wow this year is just flying by – how is it coming towards the end of November already? Meaning it is definitely time to start ramping up those present buying ideas and I’m back to share some of my favourite finds with you in part 2 of my Christmas Gift Guide (check out part 1 here).
Champagne from Nicolas Feuillatte
If you can’t sit back and enjoy a good bottle of bubbly come Christmas when can you? I know my parents like to pop open a bottle on Christmas Eve night as they settle down knowing everything is already done for Christmas Day and it is time to relax.
Perhaps the must have bottles of bubbly this Christmas come from Nicolas Feuillatte, who is offering a Brut Reserve which can be brought from Waitrose for £27.99 and a Rose which can be brought from Majestic for £24.99.
My parents have tried the Brut and they loved it – they said it had a dry, creamy texture and you could definitely pick out a number of different fruity tastes within it. However, of course, with both types on offer, you can really pick and choose what is right for your own Christmas party this year but it white or rose.
Dove DermaSpa Goodness
There are a few brands out there that whenever I hear their name my interest is raised as I have never found a bad product from them and Dove most definitely fall into this category.
This year Dove are keen to show how their DermaSpa Goodness range would make the perfect stocking fillers all coming in at under £10 each and I have to admit I completely agree. The range includes within it items such as:
DermaSpa Goodness Body Oil – RRP £9.99
DermaSpa Goodness Body Crème – RRP £7.99
DermaSpa Goodness Hand Crème – RRP £4.99
DermaSpa Goodness Body Lotion – RRP £5.99
All of which I have to admit I would be really happy to find in my stocking this year.
If you haven’t heard of DermaSpa before it has been specifically formulated to help dry skin, in three ways; of course it is going to hydrate and moisturise your skin, leaving it silky soft, it is also going to help your skin look more even and leave it looking more youthful.
The DermaSpa range really does live up to my expectations of a Dove product and adds an extra luxurious level to it. Personally I definitely recommend this as an addition to anyone’s stocking be they hand care addicts or body oil lovers, they are doing to be surprised by just how good this range from Dove is.
Elizabeth Shaw Merry Christmas Mini Gifts
Christmas is definitely the time for Chocolate and one of the great things is, it is a time where companies show of the best of their range, by bringing out not only collections of their best sellers, but also bring new ideas.
This year much loved chocolate maker Elizabeth Shaw has brought out a range of new and delicious treats for people to try and one of those happens to be the Merry Christmas Mini Gifts, which are the perfect stocking filler or after dinner nibble idea.
Coming in a choice of Dark Mint Flutes and Dark Mint Bites, Milk Amaretto Flutes and Milk Almond Bites and Dark Orange Flutes with Milk Orange Bites, they cost only £2.59 each and make for the most delicious treat you can imagine.
Each box contains a selection of bites and mini flutes and I have to admit after having tried them all for myself I am definitely partial to the mint collection. Which of course would make for the perfect after dinner bite.
Fenjal Bath Oil
One of the hardest parts of the Christmas season is, you always seem to have yet another thing to do and as such finding time to relax and take care of yourself is a must. That is where treating yourself or another, to something to pamper themselves with, comes into its own.
Personally I’ve often found that if someone treats me to a pampering item I often really put by the time to enjoy it more, than if I buy it myself.
If you want to have something that be used for a long time to come, but don’t want to break the bank then I can definitely suggest Fenjal Bath Oil. Coming in at just £8.33 (price correct on Boots website at time of publishing), it really is a must try.
Fenjal uses a mix of plant oil which perfectly disperses in the water, making for a luxury cream bath oil, that not only helps you lay back and relax, but also helps to cleanse and nourish your skin.
Making sure you add the right amount of oil to your bath is easy, all you need to do s fill the cap and then add it to running water. I personally found this was a lovely bath oil, which offers up a light fragrance and doesn’t leave your body or the bath covered in any sort of residue, which is great.
For the price I think Fenjal Bath Oil is an absolute bargain and the perfect addition to anyone’s stocking this year.
Nailed London Gel Wear Instant Glamour Trio
For the person who loves to have their nails looking spot on, this Christmas kit from Nailed London is a must. Part of a collection with Rosie Fortescue (Made in Chelsea), which in total contains 28 gorgeous colours and coats. This is the Nailed London Gel Wear Instant Glamour Trio.
This kit in particular contains three colours; Rosie’s Red, Knight Rider and London Conundrum and is made with Nailed London’s special formula which is meant to mirror the longevity of gel nail wear, without the hassle and damage of real gel nails.
All three of the colours have a long lasting, high shine finish and have taken their inspiration from the catwalk and Rosie’s love of fashion.
Looking at the colours a bit more; Rosie’s Red is a beautiful classic red and is just perfect for teaming with a little red dress this party season. Knight Rider is a suede effect black, which has a beautiful almost silver lustre to it, while London Conundrum is the perfect monochrome party glitter featuring different sized flecks of black and white.
Having had the chance to try all three of these polishes I was really impressed with them, they definitely, for me, lasted longer than other polishes I have I tried and as such I would definitely be interested in trying more.
As for the colours, well personally I have to say they are perfect for this time of year and with the set coming in at £19 and can be brought from Feel Unique, Harvey Nicholas and a number of different outlets across the UK.
If you are anything like me then you are probably always losing things, be it my purse or keys there is always something that seems to go missing. To help you know where everything is this Christmas then you may just want to pick up a TrackR Bravo, which is a pocket friendly way to keep on top of where all your items are.
TrackR Bravo works in two ways, lets for instance say you have lost your keys around the home, if you have a TrackR Bravo attached to it you can click the play sound button on the app and let the TrackR Bravo ring out so you can find it.
However, what happens if you lose something out of home? Well TrackR Bravo uses Crowd GPS, so when someone else with the TrackR app passes close by to your lost item you will receive an alert.
The TrackR costs just £24.99 and can be brought from Amazon, it comes in a number of different colour choice and accessories such as water proof covers and replacement batteries are easily available.
Personally I definitely need to pick up a couple more for myself, including one to add to the dog’s collar, just in case.
Wentworth Puzzle Snow is Falling
Back in 2013 I reviewed a puzzle from Wentworth over on my own blog and the idea of them has long stuck in my head, as they offer something unique and something completely different from any other puzzle company I have come across before.
Wentworth Puzzles were formed back in 1994 by Kevin Wentworth Preston, in the Wiltshire countryside, while they specialise in wooden puzzles that are made from the most intricate and detailed designs and come in anything from 250 – 1500 pieces, making them perfect for the amateur or professional puzzler.
Each year they bring out a wonderful range of Christmas puzzles and this one in particular is Snow is Falling and consists of 250 pieces.
There are a number of things that make Wentworth Puzzles so unique, alongside the fact they use a wonderful quality wood to make the pieces, in between all the usual assorted puzzles shapes are special pieces such as one shaped like a robin, another like a mantel and a third like a postbox to name just a few.
Personally I love the amount of detail and work that goes into these puzzles and the fact they offer not only a wonderfully designed and made puzzle, but also something I have never seen before from any company, with the array of different shaped pieces included.
The Snow is Falling jigsaw can be brought from the Wentworth Puzzles website where is costs £29.99.
So there is another round up, wrapped up – what do you think of these items, do any shout at you as being the perfect present for someone?
